This pair is off his early original pattern and not the later copies. They are in original paint and condition. They have been outside at one time as they have some rust and wear. They have some white paint spots on them from being around a painter. It might clean off. I have not tried. They would look great in an entry way or by a fireplace. They are very heavy so shipping will not be cheap. Local pick-up is always an option. John Glenn (1876-1954) A very nice drake Canvasback decoy by John Glenn from Rock Hall Maryland. It is a full size decoy made for hunting in Kent County MD. It is in original paint and hunted over condition. All the Glenn decoys were hand chopped. It is in great condition and has its screw on top with it. Stands about 4 inches tall. These are great to display with your Crow decoys. It was poured on the seed corn to repell crows. A few different companies made these when hunting shorebirds was in fashion. The birds open and close for easy storage. It would have had a wooden stake with a brass ferrule on the end to hold it up while hunting on the beach. The crest has a tight crack in the drake decoy. They are about 16 in. long.
