Roger Urie Drake Canvasback Decoy
This is a full size decoy from Rock Hall, MD. It is
in very good condition with a few rubs. It is signed
and dated 1991 on the bottom. Roger passed away
a few years ago. He made mostly miniature decoys
with his father Capt. Jess Urie. His output of full
size decoys was very limited.
Miniature Sink Box
Made by Dave Stavely of Easton, MD. It has seven
hand carved Canvasback Decoys around it.
The A-5 Browning shotgun is also carved
from wood. I don't think Mr. Stavely is carving
anymore. A great little sinkbox to display with
your decoy collection. It is 9 in. long and just over 6 in. across.
Doug Jester Black Head Decoy
This is a very nice Doug Jester Scaup from
Chincoteague, VA. It has tack eyes and is 13 in.
long. It has a thin coat of paint on it. I think it is
repainted but I am not positive. It is in great
Holton Legg Canvasback Duck Decoy
This is a great looking decoy in original condition. It was
made by Holton Legg of Kent Island, MD and hunted
over in the Chester River back in the 1960's. It is 13 1/2 in.
long and has normal wear from use.
Josiah Traver's Black Duck Duck Decoy
A full size cork Black Duck by Joe Traver's (1900 to 1965) from
Vienna on Maryland's Eastern Shore. It is in original paint.
It has a wooden head, tack eyes and a wooden bottom board.
Normal wear from hunting.

Preening Passenger Pigeon Decoy
made in the Seaford style by Jamie Reason
in 1998. That is what is written on the wooden
stand base. It is a full size decoy. Jamie Reason
does his carving out on Long Island, N.Y. Under the
birds tail his signiture "JR" mark is carved into the
decoy. It has raised wings and a great look.

Yellow Perch Fish Decoy
A wooden fish decoy with metal fins. It has a poured lead
weight in the bottom. It is 9 1/2 in. long. It is marked
HCLDC stamped on the bottom fin. I think it was made by
the Hills Creek Lake Decoy Co. Great looking fish decoy.
Miniature Cast Iron Adrvertising Duck
by Klaff Industries. This one is five inches
long and in great condition. It is also an
ashtray. It has the original brown stove finish
on it. This were made as give aways and
salesman samples by stove companies and

Carved wooden Shore Bird with its wings up
Outstanding carving on this one. I am not sure who the
carver is. There is some cracking at the body joints where
the wings are attached as seen in the picture below. I am not
sure of the species so this may be a miniature or it may be
a Humming bird.

Harry Jobes Mallard Decoy
This is a full size decorative Drake Mallard in very good
condition. It is signed and dated by Capt. Harry in 1976. This is a
great looking decoy.
Miniature Canvasback Pair of Duck Decoys
They are made by Zack Ward of Crisfield, MD. They are
in very nice condition and meassure about 7 1/2 in. long.

Travis Tyler Golden Eye Duck Decoy
This is a full size Travis Tyler decoy from Crisield, MD.
The neck does have a crack. It is 16 in. long and
has glass eyes.

Mallard Duck Decoy by Bob Biddle
This is a great looking, full size Mallard decoy
made by Bob Biddle from PA. It is signed by Bob
and dated July 22, 1992. Bob is known for making
his Merganser decoys. Mallards are not something from
him that you see often. The weight has been removed
off the bottom of this one.

Gary Crossman Mallard Decoy
This is a Mallard Gary made for he and Rick Fish to hunt over.
It is rigged with a weight and leather strap for the anchor
rope. It is in great condition.

6 inches long and in great condition. Both are signed

Super Wood duck by John Meredith from Worton, MD. It is
a full size wooden decoy with a flat bottom and wooden keel.
It is signed and dated 2005 by John. Its in great condition.

It has a horn barrel. It looks like it could be a Elam
Fisher but it has no makers mark that I can find.

A great looking drake Canvasback from Sam Barnes,
Harve de Grace, MD.(died1926) It has the "Holden"
brand on the bottom. It is in old working re-paint.

A great looking hen Canvasback from Sam Barnes,
Harve de Grace, MD.(died1926) It has been
re-painted by Madison Mitchell a long time ago.

It looks like it may be a Boyd Martin but it has no makers
mark that I can see. It works fine.
Grayson Chesser Miniature Wood Duck Decoy Pair
This is a great looking pair of mini Wood Ducks from
Grayson Chesser of Jenkins Bridge on the Eastern Shore
of Virginia. This is a early pair that were made in 1978. These
are very hard to find.
Miniature Woodpecker Carving
A nice little wooden woodpecker
with metal legs and standing on a
round slab of wood. It stands 2 1/2
inches from the bottom to top.

Miniature Shoveler Decoy by Herb Daisey
from Chincoteague, VA. It is in very good condition and
signed by Herb on the bottom. It is a drake mini Shovel Bill
that is 7 inches long.

Hoopers Island Merganser Duck Decoy
This is a great old Merganser made on Hoopers
Island in Dorchester Co. on Maryland's Eastern
Shore. It is over 14 in. long. There is a chain for the ballast
weight on the bottom. It has tack eyes. Possibly made by
John Baker around 1940. Its all original and great condition.
Great piece of folk art.

Great looking wooden decorative duck from Jack Lee
in 1984. It is signed and dated and marked #6. It is 12 in.
long and sits on a wooden base.

Herb Daisey Jr. Miniature Duck Decoy Pair
made in Chincoteague, VA. in 2002. They are each
about 7 inches long and in very good condition. They are
signed and dated on the bottom.

Very nice looking Grouse Pair in cast iron
that is a bottle opener.

Capt. Harry Jobes Mallard Duck Decoy Lamp
This is a full size drake Mallard that has been mounted on
a wooden lamp base by Capt. Harry Jobes of Aberdeen, MD.
Capt. Harry is one of the last of the old time Upper Bay carvers.
I think this one was made in the late 1960's or early 1970's. It has
his sticker with his name and address on the bottom of the base.
Two screws hold the decoy on the base. Green felt covers them but
it could easily be taken off the base if you choose. The lamp is in
very good condition but is missing the shade. You could pick one
up with very little trouble. They had a burlap looking shade. The decoy
is in very good, all original condition.

It is 3 1/2 inches long. I am not sure who the maker
is but it looks to be from Virginia or North Carolina.

It is 10 inches tall and maerked on the bottom
Carry-Lite Ruff Sport Plastic made in Italy.

F. A. Allen Crow Call
from Monmouth, IL. It works
good and is marked on the barrel.

Made of lead and painted to resemble a ear
of corn. You can use them on your decoys or
display them with you antique decoys. They make great
gifts for your hunting friends. The actual corn is about
5 inches long.

Kirby Thompson Canvasback Duck Pair Decoy
This is a very nice, scarce pair of wooden Canvasbacks from
Kirby (Cho Cho) Thompson from Kent Island, MD. Kirby was
born in 1903 and left us in 1977. The pair is in original
condition. Normal wear from use. Look to have been made
in the 50's or early 60's. Kirby was written about in the book
"The Forgotten Seven: The Decoy Carvers of Kent Island".

Miniature Bob Litzenberg Sleeper Green Wing Teal Pair
They are signed Robert G. Litzenberg and dated 1995.
A very rare pair of mini duck decoys from this Elkton, MD.
maker. The hen has some some crazing on the tail. You
may never get a chance at a pair like this again!

A great pair of full size cast iron sink box decoys. They are
both signed Robert G. Litzenberg, Elkton, MD. All
original condition on the pair. They look great by
the fireplace or entrance way.

Capt. John Smith Duck Decoy
from Ocean City, MD. It is a full size decoy 16 inches
long. It has a chip at the end of the bill and a neck crack.

Great looking wooden Quail decoy. It is 8 inches
long and in great condition. It is not signed.

Wooden Fox Decoy
A miniature carved Fox that is almost 8 inches
tall. It is signed on the bottom by the maker, "William
Coleman, Worton, MD."

Miniature Mallard Decoy
Wooden mini Mallard duck decoy. It is in
very good condition and seems to be all
original. It has the Letter "T" carved into the bottom.

Miniature Crisfield Duck Decoy
A mini hen that is just over 10 in. long. It looks
like a hen Pintail or maybe a Teal to me. I am not sure.
The bottom of the decoy and under the bill have not been
painted. It was made in Crisfeild by Billy ( Zach ) Ward.
Preening Goose Miniature Decoy
Wooden Mini Goose decoy that is about 4 1/2 in.
long. It has some scratch painting on the back. I am
not sure who the maker is.
Miniature Goose Decoy Pair
A great pair of balsa wood mini geese. They
are each carved from one piece of balsa wood
including the base they stand on. Very nicely done
with raised wings. One goose has had a cracked
neck that has been glued on at some time. Other
than that they are in great condition. They are
around 5 inches tall including the base. They
are not signed. At one time they were on

This looks to be a wooden Animal Trap
factory decoy. It has been repainted.
It is in very good condition. It is about
13 1/2 inches long.

Capt. Jimmy Wright Dove Decoy
from Massey, MD. It is about 12 1/2 in. long and
in original paint. It has a couple of minor

Wooden Mallard Duck Decoy Box from Cabela's
The decoy is attached to the top of the box. The Mallard
drake is 15 in. long. It is branded Cabela's on the underside
of the lid. It is in very good codntion. There is a brass shell
attached by the decoy.

a full size pair in great condition.

They are each about 6 in. long. They are signed by the
maker and dated 1985.

It is 3 1/2 in. tall with the stand. Not sure of the maker but does

Phil Kemp Miniature Canvasback Duck Decoy
Made by Phil Kemp on Kent Island, MD. Capt. Phil lived
most of his life at Love Point on the Northern End of
Kent Island where he fished, hunted and made decoys.
This is a mini that is about 8 in. long. It has a tight
check in the neck as seen. Decoys by Phil are hard to
find. He has been written about in the book "The Forgotten
Seven: The Decoy Carvers of Kent Island".
Shorebird by Gary Crossman
This little shore bird is about 6 in. long and in
great condition. It has Gary's trademark "C"
carved into the bottom. Gary Passed away a
couple of years ago. It is mounted on a wooden base.
Miles Hancock Red Head Duck Decoy
A full size, original paint hunting Red Head drake decoy made at
Chincoteague, VA. by Miles Hancock. It is a balsa
body and cedar head decoy. It has the original weight, tack eyes
and antenna wire strap. If your looking for a good
old, true hunting decoy from Miles this is the one for you.
Rooter Crank Duck Call
It is pictured in Mackey's
"American Bird Decoys"
book as a duck call. It has
a dull metal finish.
Canvasback Pair by Danny Marshall
from Chincoteague, VA. They are as nice a looking
pair of decoys as you will find. Signed on the bottom. They are
about 15 inches long. Super pair of decoys for any
Green Wing Teal Hen Duck Decoy
A great looking wooden Teal decoy that has been hunted over.
It is branded "JBH #10" on the bottom. It has glass eyes
and is 13 in. long.
Ring Neck Hen Miniature Decoy by Chris Hawkins
from Havre de Grace, MD. It is signed and
dated 1992 on the bottom. It is about 8 inches
long. This one has a wooden keel on the bottom.
Green Wing Teal by Brandon Murphy
from Tilghman's Island, MD. It is in very good condition
and signed on the bottom weight. It is a full size Teal
painted in the Upper Chesapeake Bay style.

Wood Duck Decoy Pair
by un-known to me maker. Very nice, early pair of Woodies.
They are 13 1/2 in. long and look to be in original paint. The paint
has some crazing. They have flat bottoms.
Canvasback Hen High Head
signed "Gill 03" on the bottom. It is 16 in. long and stands
almost 11 in. high.
Jim Tooker Miniature Duck Decoy
From Babylon, NY (1939-2001). It is 5 1/4 in. long. It has a pad weight
on the bottom and tack eyes. It is signed on the bottom
"Jet". It is thought to have been made in the 1980's.
Merganser Miniature Duck Decoy
It was hand carved by Walter W. Oler Sr. and hand
painted by Gale Salvage in 1979. It is 7 1/2 in. long.
It is in very good condition. Signed on the bottom.
Paper Mache Salesman Sample Mallard Pair
I think they are from the Carry Lite Decoy Company. They
are each about 5 inches long and in very
good condtion with minamal wear.

Peters Victor 2 pc. Shotgun Shell Box
from the Peters Cartridge Co., Kings Mills, Ohio.
It is in good condition for its age. The box is empty and
has some tearing in spots on the paper label as you can
see in the photo's. It held 25, 12 ga shells that were 3 1/4.
They were 5 shot with 1 1/8 oz. A nice shell box that will
display very well in any collection.

magazine from 1941-42. It is in very
good condition. Lots of interesting stories and

Nice decorative Mallard decoy. This is a full size decoy with
glass eyes and raised wings. It is in very good condition.
Charlie Bryan Canvasback Decoy Pair
from Middle River, MD. This is the large, over size
Canvasback pair. They are in very good, original condition.
Mr. Bryan passed away this past year.

Capt. Jess Urie Pintail Rock Hall MD
A very nice looking drake Pintail made by Capt. Jess. It is in
old working repaint by Jess Urie. It looks to be from the 60's. It
has some sap staining. A true old hunting decoy. Has what looks
like a couple of brands carved into the bottom.

John Glenn Canvasback Rock Hall MD
Very nice, old John Glenn drake Canvasback decoy. It is in
old hunting repaint. The weight has been removed a long time back.
It is in very good condition for its age.

made by General Fiber. It is a paper mache decoy
that used a wooden clothes pin to hold it on a line
or branch. This one looks to be in very good condition.

Miniature Merganser Duck Decoy
It looks to be made by Willie Ross from Chebeague,
ME. It is just over 4 inches long and in great
condition. Willie was born in 1878 and died in 1954.

Pintail Decoy by Tom Taber
Great looking wooden drake Pintail made by
Tom Taber. It is in great condition. It is made to look
100 years old. It is a full size decoy that is 18 inches long.

This is a very heavy wooden Teal decoy. It has been aged and
distressed to look much older than it is. It is signed and dated
08 by the makers. It is 11 1/2 inches long.

Miniature Hen Black Head Duck Decoy
Made in Havre de Grace, MD by Bobby Rosinger (not sure if
that is the correct spelling.) He worked with Jimmy Pierce. His
miniatures look a lot like Madison Mitchell's work. He is no longer
living. Not sure of the exact date of his passing. It is about 8 inches
long and in very good condition.

It is signed and dated 1990. It is 7 1/2 in. long. George
worked for Paul Gibson in Havre de Grace, MD.

decoy. I think it may be in a light coat of repaint
by Capt. Jess. It is in very good contition.
